Kitz Alps Trail 100, KAT 100 course preview: KAT 100 is the longest ultra trailrunning race in Austria. Distance: 174 km, altitude gain: 9996 m. (There are shorter races too.) The course visits hard and panoramic climbs in the Kitzbüheler Alps, the race starts in Fieberbrunn. It has long, steep climbs and offers great landscape and wonderful views. The route of the longest course (the longest ultra trail race in Austria): Main climbs are: Fieberbrunn - Wildseeloder (2118 m) - Hochfilzen - Buchensteinwand (1462 m) - St. Jakob - Waidring - Kalkstein (1506 m) - St. Johann in Tirol - Kitzbüheler Horn (1996 m) - Kitzbühel - Hahnenkamm - Pengelstein (1938 m) - Schwarzkogel (2028 m) - Jochberg - Gamshag (2178 m) - Aurach - Bischofsjoch (1880 m) - Fieberbrunn. In the year 2020 - during 4 days - I ran 114 km of the course and I recorded ca. 3 hours of video. I edited this best of video for the runners. HUN: A KAT 100 Ausztria leghosszabb terepfutó-versenye (174 km + 9996 m) , amely útvonala a Kitzbüheli Alpokban vezet és keres fel komoly emelkedőket, panorámás csúcsokat. Az útvonal nem túl technikás, jól futható, kiváló terepfutásra. 2020-ban 4 nap alatt az 174 km-ből 114 km-t jártam be, ezekből készült az útvonalat bemutató GoPro videó.
