GCD's video: Devpro - Volcanic Burgesstoma ft Iris The Earth Mother

Special thanks to Cherry Inmato (the commenter, not the card) for his deck suggestion of Volcanic Burgesstomas - to which I attached Iris, The Earth Mother and Lightning Punisher. Burgesstoma and Volcanics work very nicely together on their own. They both have great draw engines in Pikaia and Blaze Accelerator Reload, and the low monster count ensures you're going to be hitting your key traps early on. Furthermore, Marella to send Blaze Accelerator Reload from the deck is just a beautiful play - setting up a free Raigeki and 1500 on your opponent's turn for free. As for Iris, the Earth Mother - she is essentially a T.G Hyper Librarian in the maindeck. As you make your plays, Iris will extend them simply by being on the field and giving you additional draws. Lightning Punisher is added alongside of her because when you have both of them out on the field you'll be able to complete 2/3 of the necessary chain links just through their effects. Punisher is also great because he'll be able to pop your opponent's cards very effectively during their turn for easy disruption. Reasoning and Monster Gate are added to set up Burgesstoma traps in grave and get either Rocket or Iris / Punisher very early. Scattershot is a decent hit off of them because he can be used for Opabinia - though it will make the Raigeki effect of his offline. The worst Reasoning / Monster Gate target is Volcanic Shell, but even then it's still going to be minor tribute fodder. A solid deck with some solid techs. Solid.
