GCU sophomore and multi-event track athlete Mally McGarity competes in a range of track events from hurdles and high jump to javelin and sprints, and credits her athletic ability to her years jump roping. McGarity competed in the jump rope junior olympics from second to seventh grade and can do some amazing tricks, from jumping more than 300 times in a minute to jumping rope while sitting and doing pushups. See her amazing talent in action in this second episode of the GCU Today Faces in the Crowd feature series.
