Midwestern University in Glendale opened its doors to more than 130 GCU students, mostly premed or pre-health majors, as part of the first "GCU Day" open house event in November. The universities recently announced that Midwestern would set aside dozens of seats in medical school programs for GCU students who meet rigorous academic requirements.
