INNOVATIVE INTERDISCIPLINARY TEACHING LEARNING & RESEARCH PRACTICES FOR OUTCOME BASED EDUCATION (July 14 - August 03, 2022) The Academic and Professional Development Centre (APDC) aspires to play a pivotal role in the efforts of GD Goenka University, Gurugram Haryana, to become one of the best universities in the country with a new academic culture. It has as its primary role the development of faculty and teaching staff in carrying out their duties by keeping abreast of current and changing methodologies as the university seeks its identity among the institutions of higher learning. Three Weeks Training & Capacity Building Program for Academic Staff on “Innovative Interdisciplinary Teaching-Learning & Research Practice for Outcome Based Education” between July 14 and August 03, 2022. Organised by Academic and Professional Development Centre (APDC) G.D Goenka University, Gurugram (Haryana) in association with the All India Council for Technical Education, AICTE .We are thankful to the universities and the speakers of repute who joined us and shared their knowledge in various sessions of the program. We want to thank IIT Delhi, JNU, Aligarh Muslim University, JMI New Delhi, University of Kent, University College Birmingham, UK., Deusto University- Spain ,University of Malta, University of Belgrade, Fortis, Springer, and Seneca Canada to name a few. We had 41 sessions during this 21-days program in which many Professors and experts joined us for this noble cause, would also like to mention that more than 12 of our Faculty members also shared their knowledge with the fellow colleagues. Our topics of the sessions ranged from research, teaching skills, and classroom environment to cognitive abilities, soft skills, quality assurance, content creation mentoring, feedback, and counselling to the use of ICT in teaching-learning process. Our APDC centre will continue to work in the direction of Academic and Professional Development of the faculty member of the university in future also.
