GD Goenka University's video: 15 August Celebration

15 August 2022, the momentous occasion of India’s 75th Independence Day, was celebrated with great gusto and enthusiasm at GD Goenka Education City. The event was graced by dignitaries which included the Prof. (Dr.) Tabrez Ahmad, Vice Chancellor, GD Goenka University; Dr. Neeta Bali, Director Principal, GD Goenka World School, and Prof. (Dr.) Tanuja Kaushik, Dean Student Welfare & International Relations. It was a moment of great pride and honour as the Indian tricolour was unfurled and the national anthem played, while the audiences witnessed in rapt attention with a heart full of pride. The audiences were addressed on this occasion by the Vice Chancellor, GDGU and the Director Principal GDGWS. The day also saw students participate enthusiastically in cultural performances, speech and poem recitation. The events came to a close with a friendly cricket and badminton match, and the flying of kites. The kites soaring high in the Indian sky symbolic of India’s own growth and progress.
