Ganpati Gadad is a group of 6-7 caves near Dhasai. This is fairly simple trek and quite enjoyable and a treat for eyes in monsoons. You can enjoy various small waterfalls here. This route is wonderful for nature lovers. Height: 3000 ft above MSL approx. Grade: Easy Base Village : Sonavale, Dhasai Ganapati Gadad caves are situated in a small village called ‘Palu, Sonawale’ in Murbad. This time I went again with Morya Trekkers. Amazing experience with amazing people. Each and every person on the trek was helpful to each other. The members of the community were very great. The trek is fucking scary and also adventurous please be patient while trekking. This place I preferred to go in monsoon as it can be very much beautiful and also very much Memorable trek. Clouds were looking just awesome and also we are inside the clouds. The rain was very heavy and we enjoyed it. This time we had done water rappelling 1st ever a time in life. I was totally black and don't know how to do and what to do. when we reached the top we all were scared and looking each other face with a question mark on face. We had very good support system from morya people. Finally, we start the rappelling and slowly got confidence and each and every people. completed rappeling with and magnificent effort and hope within. ________________________ How to reach:- We travel by train from Mulund to thane and then we took a Private Bus arranged by Morya trekkers. It will take around 1 to 1.30hrs to travel from thane to base village Sonavle. After reaching you will start your trek which is almost most 1 hours. ________________________ Basic Information about the trek:- After reaching Ganpati Gadad You will see the beautiful view along with clouds beside you.
