Primal Scream - Loaded (From "Screamadelica Live") 2011 was the 20th anniversary of the release and this was the first time the album had ever been performed live in its entirety. Primal Scream's seminal album "Screamadelica" defined a generation. Its mix of rock, dance, dub, gospel, and more caught the zeitgeist of the early nineties to perfection and it went on to win the inaugural Mercury Music Prize in 1992 and consistently be named "Best Album Of The Nineties" and appear in numerous "All Time Best Albums" lists. For this show, the band was accompanied by a brass section and a gospel choir with back projections specially created for the event. The result was a stunning musical and visual triumph and proved, if it needed to be, that Screamadelica is one of the finest albums ever made and that Primal Scream is one of the truly great live bands. The amazing addition of the 40-minute / 8 track "Rock Set" that opened the show featuring classic Primal Scream tracks including "Country Girl", "Rocks", "Jailbird", "Swastika Eyes" and more as a bonus feature [on DVD and Blu-ray formats] makes this a must-have release.
