GIZ's video: The Implementation of TSM in Jordan

On behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (“Bundesministerium für wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung”, BMZ), the GIZ project “Strengthening Capacities for Wastewater Management” (CWWM) has supported the Water Authority of Jordan (WAJ) in the development and implementation of Technical Sustainable Management (TSM). After three years of project implementation, seven wastewater treatment plants have been successfully certified according to TSM standards in Jordan, resulting in improved capacities in the following areas: 1) Human Resources 2) Occupational Health & Safety 3) Operation 4) Maintenance 5) Quality Control 6) Energy Efficiency GIZ will continue to support to secure sustainability, by strengthening capacities in the Jordanian wastewater sector. The further development of the quality management system TSM is one of the main objectives of the GIZ project “Wastewater Treatment and Reuse” (WTR) until 2024.
