Every trek is beautiful in its own way.It is generally thought that while the high altitude in the Garhwal Himalayas on Uttarakhand is extremely beautiful- the glaciers, the high concentration of tall mountains and big rivers, This trek proved that the lower altitude in Garhwal is also very beautiful. This trek is decorated with transparent clear water streams, huge deep forest, granary all around, meadows covered with soft green grass. This Krishna Sarovar is at 5KM kilometre from Triyuginarayan Temple and source of water for 5 pounds at Triyuginarayan Temple. This is situated on the south-western end of a ridge in the Kedarnath region, there are two ways to approach Panwalikantha. The one trail hikers take begins at Triyuginarayan, the temple town marking the spot where Lord Shiva is said to have solemnised his wedding to Parvati. You can stay overnight at Sonprayag 10 km away, or Gupkashi (37km) which offers more accomodation options. The other route begins at Ghuttu, 62 km north of Tehri.
