Gaming Guide's video: How To Summon A Basilisk - ARK: Aberration

Today, I want to show you how to spawn a basilisk in ARK: Aberration. The basilisk is a very elusive creature that can be quite difficult to find. There are a few predictable spawn locations, but oftentimes they result in lower level creatures that do not carry as much value. If you are having a difficult time finding the basilisk that you desire, then there are a few admin console commands that can prove useful in summoning one of these beasts. This first command is useful for summoning a wild basilisk that is a level of your choosing. It also can be used to spawn in the wild basilisk far enough away that it doesn't automatically hunt you down. It is as follows: admincheat SpawnDino "Blueprint'/Game/Aberration/Dinos/Basilisk/Basilisk_Character_BP.Basilisk_Character_BP'" 6000 0 0 150 This will spawn in a level 150 wild basilisk that is 6000 units away. If you desire a different level, then simply change the 150 to whatever number you like. You can also change the 6000 to be whatever distance you prefer, but I would caution you against going much lower than 6000. Otherwise, it will instantly agro as soon as it is summoned. This next admin command is much shorter, but doesn't give you nearly as much control over the level or distance that the basilisk spawns. It is as follows: admincheat summon Basilisk_Character_BP_C This will summon a wild basilisk that is 0 units away and of a random level. Obviously, it is a much shorter command, but it removes a lot of predictability regarding what will happen as soon as it is summoned. This last command is probably my preferred one for summoning in a basilisk. It will spawn in an already tamed basilisk of whatever level you choose. It is as follows: gmsummon "Basilisk_Character_BP_C" 150 This will give you an already tamed basilisk that is level 150 plus a perfect taming bonus of fifty percent. That leaves you with a level 225 basilisk that can take on the world of ARK: Aberration. If you prefer a different level creature, then change the 150 to whatever level you would like.
