I have the pruner with the extended reach from last year, and that was underwhelming. This item is terrific though. Cuts super fast and easily cuts up to one inch branches. The 2.0 ah battery lasts a really long time. I did several hundred cuts and didn't even use one bar on the battery. It has a light on the tip if that helps your decision making process. The one thing I don't like on this tool, is the safety switch digs into your skin if you are wearing gloves. Only takes about 20 pulls, and you will feel it. With gloves, no problem at all.
