Filmed over a year ago right at the beginning of RAD's Tolleson contracts. This truck was one of RAD's acquisitions from Greenline Waste. It has since been totalled in an accident. Even though he doesn''t rev it (much), David still makes this truck an entertaining one. His usual truck is their mini Condor, but he ran the full size Durapack in Tolleson Farms to pack all the green waste and trash. No, RAD is not mixing trash and green waste. When the city collected themselves, they ran a separate green waste route on Mondays for honestly no reason, as it was mixed with commercial trash and all landfilled. When they issued the RFP, they decided to axe the separate service all together, despite RAD having the resources (a green waste processing facility) to do it right. I know at the their main transfer station in Apache, they divert green waste best they can from trash loads, hopefully the same can be said at their new Phoenix transfer station.
