For delicious recipes visit: https://gastrogurukitchen.com/ Black Pepper Chicken recipe Ingredients For Marinade: 2 TBSP soy sauce 1 TBSP rice vinegar 2 cloves of garlic - minced 1 inch of ginger - minced 1.5 TBSP corn starch Ingredients for Cooking: 1 LBS chicken thighs - cut into small pieces 6 TBSP veg. /cooking oil 1 onion - chopped 1 red bell pepper - chopped 2 stalks of celery - chopped 1 TBSP dark soy sauce - Tamari 1 TBSP oyster sauce 2 TBSP of water Method - Chicken Marinade In a mixing bowl add chicken & marinade ingredients listed above Mix well, set aside for 30 minutes Method - Cooking Heat wok or saucepan until its smoking hot. Then add oil. Once oil is hot add chicken pcs & shallow fry them for 3 minutes or until golden brown & fully cooked Do not crowd wok, fry in 2 batches. Once chicken is cooked remove with slotted spoon, set aside Now add onion, celery & bell pepper. Stir fry for 1 minute, no more Now add back cooked chicken pcs, stir fry for a minute Then add soy sauce, oyster sauce & water as/if needed Mix everything in the wok well, stir fry for 30 seconds & you are done! Transfer to serving dish/bowl. Enjoy with steamed rice or by itself Bon Appetit!
