SUBMITTER: N/A Sonic the Hedgehog, a game that needs no introduction... beyond us telling you that this is specifically the Genesis version of the game since it's been ported and re-released so many times. Also that's "Genesis" as in the console, not "Genesis" as in that awful GBA port. We've already featured that game as a challenge this year. It did not go well. This is a challenge from a bygone era, submitted long before we kept track of who submitted what and the records are long gone. Credited to no one in particular, this challenge is just to collect half (3) of the Chaos Emeralds in the game. Theoretically a perfect run of this would see Special Stages following Green Hill 1 and 2 plus Marble Zone 1, as there are no opportunities for Special Stages in the third act of each zone (it's a boss). No marathon is ever complete with a "that's never happened before" moment, and here's Draco's. This challenge is tough, but not impossible, and Draco manages to botch it in the most amusing ways possible. The physics and unintentional trick shots that lead to him failing the Special Stages are nothing short of impressive to say the least.
