SUBMITTER: MrInflammable Dragon's Lair was revolutionary for its time. Never before had a fully animated interactive "movie" been seen before and fans immediately gravitated toward Dirk's adventure to slay Singe the dragon. Every turn of Singe's castle was booby trapped and Dragon's Lair required quick reflexes, quick thinking, and straight up on the fly guessing to complete. The arcade game, by the way. This is the NES game and it's... well. It's got as much trial and error as the arcade you could say but man is this one a mess. Dragon's Lair was ported to EVERYTHING back in the day, for better or worse. (And it's still being ported to things today, as well as being remastered. It's that legendary.) The NES was not a console capable of handling Dragon's Lair so it was turned into a sidescrolling adventure game. An infuriating one. The challenge here is "pass the first screen", that should tell you all you need to know about this miserable time sink.
