په ارمان د نادانۍ شى چــې هوښـيار شـــــې خوشحالى او خوب يې ورك شې غم يې كار شي تخت و تاج او بادشاهــى يــې پــكار نه وي په ارمان د روغ صورت وي چې بيمــار شې په توبه باندي ډير بد ښكاري چي زوړ شــې ښكارى ښه چې په ځوانۍ كې توبه ګار شـې ليوني په كانړو لـږي ورته خانـــدې د هوښيارو ځنكندن په يو ګـذار شـې خپله غمه د يار غم مي لــــــــــــــږ ميلـــــــــــمه دې تابه وكړمه وار وكړه كـه د وار شـې ته د خپلي سترګي وګوره چي څـه كا د خاطر زړګي به څه رنګه قرار شــې Who is Khatir Afridi Hailing from Khyber Agency, Khatir Afridi was an oasis of life in an otherwise rugged and unforgiving land. He was born in 1929 and died in 1961. The simplicity and spontaneity of his poetry allowed Khatir Afridi to make a name for himself as a prominent poet in pashto language at a young age. Even to this day Khatir Afridi enjoys immense popularity and lives on in the exuberant hearts of millions of young and old pukhtons alike. He left behind a son, who has compiled all of his father’s work into a volume. The book name is Da khatir kuliyat .
