This is the field that was hoed at day 5 before the corn had emerged. Today is day 9 and we look at the field. Between now and the hoe pass, we have had 3.9 inches of rain. The corn stand was not harmed by the hoe, and the "weed clock" was successfully reset. The corn has the advantage over the weeds. The next pass on this field will be the "spike" cultivator in 3-5 days.
