#𝐌𝐌𝐈𝐖 Yesterday we filmed my Indigenous-inspired original violin music video for my debut original album release, ℂ𝕒𝕥𝕙𝕒𝕣𝕤𝕚𝕤 🙌 Being a survivor and member of the Huron-Wendat nation, the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women movement shook my soul to it’s very core...I wanted to write a piece of music to tribute these lost souls. I became inspired by an art installation in Canada that featured red dresses hanging in the trees to represent the missing and murdered Indigenous women. After cleansing the clearing with sage, my mother and I paid a beautiful tribute to the stolen sisters.
