I Vitelloni is Federico Fellini's third film, first released in 1953. It's often regarded as pivotal point in his artistic development. I Vitelloni follows a group of young men living in an Italian coastal town as they stagger through their lives. Partly autobiographical, funny, and with a curious atmosphere, it feels like a mature piece. The moment I'm looking at here is the very end of the film, which is well considered and feels as though it's drawing on Fellini's own experiences. Ciao, Moraldo!
