Grey hair is the crown of life and the old gems in our lives are the true Kings and Queens that shape up today’s world! Today is International Day for Older Persons, and I take this opportunity to express my gratitude and love for all the Older persons out there who are the embodiment of wisdom! I visited Vishranthi Old Age home last December to spend the day with senior citizens who are brimming with life and exude positivity. To everybody who have senior citizens at home, keep them happy and never let them go. I am glad that homes like Vishranthi give newfound life to senior citizens who have nowhere else to go and instill ambition in them once again! I went as a guest, but returned feeling like I left my grandparents’ house – well fed, happy, loved and blessed! Life teaches us many lessons, however, with the help of our elders, all of life’s lessons become a lot easier!
