Il miliardario collezionista Samuel Powell entra in possesso di una maschera etrusca che riproduce le fattezze di un demone guerriero. Sei anni dopo, cinque studenti stranieri residenti a Siena entrano in contatto con la maschera mentre consegnano il giornale nell'abitazione di Powell. Da quel momento i cinque ragazzi saranno vittime di orrende visioni che li condurranno fino alla morte. Jude e Mark, preoccupati dell'inquietante situazione, chiedono aiuto ad un prete esperto di cultura etrusca.
