Russian President Vladimir Putin tried his hand at falconry during a visit to Russia's Far East region, where he oversaw strategic joint military drills on Tuesday. During his visit by Kamchatka breeding centre volunteers, one falcon took its time to leave Putin's glove, prompting him to quip that the bird of prey "liked it there." The military drills, dubbed Vostok 2022 (East 2022), have been taking place since September 1, and have included members of the Chinese and Indian armed forces.
