Gang violence is tightening its grip on Haiti, where there is no clear path to stability on the horizon. A state of emergency was declared by the country just before the resignation of Haitian Prime Minister Ariel Henry, both of which have added to the unrelenting chaos. "The first thing to do is to destroy the gangs,. Show them they don't have power," said Haitian-Canadian Paul Toussaint, who runs a restaurant in Montreal.
