Global Street Art's video: USRN x Global Street Art part 1 of 3

Ever wondered how murals and street art shape our cities? 👀 We were delighted to welcome Urban Surfaces Research Network (USRN) to our HQ as part of London Mural Festival, hosting three incredible panels of academics, researchers, and policymakers. Held in our inspiration Gallery—home to over 100,000 objects tracing 150 years of creative history—the panel explored the roles and uses of urban surfaces. “Who benefits from painting public walls?” This first panel moderated by Sabina Andron raises questions of value and agency in creative and commercial uses of city surfaces. Over the next few weeks, we’ll share all three panels, guiding us through the stories our city walls tell and the transformative power of murals and street art.
