Big Surprise At The Grand Ole Opry! Our First Time There & We Picked A Great Night To Go! We had never been to the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, TN, so we decided to fix that, and take in a show on December 17, 2022! We didn't know exactly what to expect, but we were familiar with several of the names on the list of announced performers. There was Whisperin' Bill Anderson, Connie Smith, Lorrie Morgan, Emmylou Harris, Gail Davies, comedian John Crist, Holly Williams, and Bobby Osborne. One name we didn't recognize was: Mitch Rossell. He was new to us, and it turned out that he was making his Grand Ole Opry debut! He was very talented, and apparently has written songs for some of Country Music's greatest stars. And the big surprise we got that night was that one of those huge stars showed up that night to introduce Mitch and welcome him the Opry! We won't give it away here who it was, but needless to say, there's no one bigger in Country Music! We'll leave it at that, and just say that our first visit to the Grand Ole Opry is one we'll never forget.
