Adam Wainwright's Full Farewell Ceremony + Last At Bat! Busch Stadium, October 1, 2023 We went to Busch Stadium to watch the St. Louis Cardinals' last game of the 2023 season. The Cardinals didn't have a very good season, and didn't make the playoffs, so we weren't there to cheer on a winning team. Our main reason for going to this game was to see Adam Wainwright be honored on his last day as a St. Louis Cardinal! He had won his 200th game this season and decided to retire, and the Cardinals organization gave him a fitting send-off. And, Wainwright even took one last at-bat to end his career in the eighth inning! It was an amazing day, honoring an amazing player and human being, and we were glad we had the opportunity to be there!
