Scenic Driving Tour Of Catalina Island & Avalon: Fantastic Tour With The Catalina Island Company We visited Catalina Island for the very first time, and because we wanted to see a lot of it while we were there, we booked a tour with the Catalina Island Company. That turned out to be a great decision, as the tour was fun, informative, and showed us some breathtaking views of the Island and the town of Avalon! Our tour guide and driver were both great! The narrator for our tour was informative and funny, and even though it was our driver's first time driving since completing his training, he did great! And driving the tour bus around the hills of Catalina Island is no simple thing to do! We felt we were right on the edge of the cliffs at times. Catalina Island is beautiful, and we couldn't get over how amazing it was to get to look down from the heights and see the whole city of Avalon, the harbor, and the Casino in our view. We loved the tour and this tour company, and would highly recommend this hour-long tour of the island!
