Guess What Animal Bumped Our Car At The Aikman Wildlife Adventure Drive-Thru? This Place Is Great! We had talked about going to the Aikman Wildlife Adventure park in Arcola, Illinois, for quite a while. So when we were able to have our grandson for the day, we picked him up and made the drive to go do it! We didn't know what to expect, but we had heard good things about it, and it looked like they had lots of animals for us to see. We purchased the Triple Crown Adventure Tickets, which entitled us to do the Drive-Thru and Walk-Thru Adventures, and go through the Museum of Prehistoric Life, as well. We did the Drive-Thru first, (which is what you'll see in this video) and it is a 1.5 mile drive around open ground where we saw lots of free-roaming animals. You do enter at your own risk, but the animals are very tame, and many come right up to your vehicle! It was a very fun experience, and as soon as it was over, we made plans to come again and bring the whole family next time. Were we kidding in the title when we said an animal bumped into us? No, that really happened, and both Grandma and Cohen said that too-close animal encounter we had did scare them a little bit!
