Robin Eats Wax Worms We Put Out For Her To Feed To Her Chicks! We had a Robin build a nest at our back door right on top of our security light, so we left it alone and kept watch. We discovered one day that she had laid three eggs! Soon they hatched, and we watched her and her partner constantly flying around our back yard finding food for their young chicks. We didn't know if it would work, but we decided to see if they would notice and then eat wax worms if we put some out in plain sight on top of our grill. We gave it a try, and to our surprise, they did! Everytime now when we put the worms out, they find them right away, grab them all up, and take them bacl to the nest to feed their young! It's pretty fun to watch, and our grandson thinks it's the best thing ever!
