Christmas With Amy Grant & Vince Gill At The Ryman Auditorium Was Amazing! 12-18-2022 We had an absolutely wonderful time at "Christmas At The Ryman with Amy Grant and Vince Gill", on December 18, 2022! It couldn't have been better, well, unless we'd been sitting closer to the stage. And that's brings up the fact that, apparently, you need to get your tickets for one of these concerts (they do several each December) in March of the same year if you want to get a good seat down on the floor! But even though we were in the top row of the balcony, we could still see very well, and what we heard was so good! Amy Grant and Vince Gill sounded great together, and they sang several classic Christmas songs along with some written by Amy and Vince themselves. And of course, Amy Grant sang "A Tender Tennessee Christmas", a song she says she's been singing for 40 Christmases in a row now! There were also Christmas hymns, and at times, we felt like we were worshipping Christ The King in a church. Pretty fitting, since the Ryman Auditorium, is known as the Mother Church of Country Music. The whole evening was a great experience, and it opened with a very good comedian, Henry Cho. He got us laughing and then the concert began, and Amy and Vince had us singing along! And there was even a snowball fight in the middle of it all! Needless to say, we'll be going back next Christmas, and plan to make this a new holiday tradition for us.
