GnC Films's video: The Killer 1989 Dir John Woo - 30th Anniversary Stereo Remix

The Killer was originally released with a Cantonese monaural soundtrack. When the film was re-released on DVD, various editions sported new 5.1 soundtracks, although the content and quality of these varied. This video presents an effort to create a more faithful-sounding remix of The Killer in stereo using a combination of the original Cantonese monaural dialogue stem, new stereo music from digital masters and new sound effects that are more akin to those used in 1989. The use of media materials is protected by the Fair Use Clause of the U.S. Copyright Act of 1976, which allows for the rebroadcast of copyrighted materials for the purposes of commentary, criticism, and education.
