The Blue Krait "Malayan Krait" Snake Bite Venom (Bungarus Candidus) The Blue Krait are mainly found in Western Malaysia, VietNam, Thailand, Bali, Lao People's Democratic Republic, Indonesia, Singapore, and Sumatra. While the blue krait is NOT the most venomous snake in the world, the blue krait is right up there with the inland taipan, Saw Scaled Viper, Eyelas Viper and some of the other deadliest and most venomous snakes in the world. The blue krait venom contains extremely potent neurotoxins that attack the human nervous system, forcing your body to completely stop functioning. After getting bit with blue krait venom. death comes rather quickly, death most likely will occur within 12 to 24 hours, if left untreated the human fatality rate is about 60 to 70%. But even with antivenom treatment from the nearest hospital, 50% of the bites from the Blue Krait prove to be fatal. After getting bit with the venom chances are you will die from respiration failure, due to the paralysis of important muscles necessary for human survival and nerves necessary for functioning properly like the diaphragm. The Blue Krait Bite is somewhat painless which makes things worse because you could be in very grave danger while the venom is kicking in and still believe this bite is minor which could be the last mistake you ever make. The Blue Krait is extremely hazardous to people living in remote and small villages especially in Asia where the blue krait seems to be a huge problem because these predators don't mind popping up at your home. Unlike other venomous snakes that are ambush and attack predators, they are active venomous hunters, stalking at night in hunt of prey. While these cute wittle noodles may NOT seem like it they are colossally and monumentally homicidal and beautifully murderess.
