Sarcosuchus Imperator: Prehistoric "SuperCroc" Reptile Mini Documentary Sarcosuchus: A Prehistoric Reptile Created From YOUR Nightmares! My original video contained a typo so I re created the entire video and audio to make sure everything was correct because my integrity matters when you're dealing with facts. Sarcosuchus Sarcosuchus was a vicious prehistoric and gigantic crocodile predator that lived in the early Cretaceous Period of what is now Africa and South America and is one of the largest crocodile-like reptiles that ever lived. The Sarcosuchas was alive and active around 145 million to 93 million years ago according to the age of the fossils that were found of this scary and nightmarish predator. It was almost twice as long as the modern saltwater crocodile and weighed up to 8 tones. You should be sucking the ground everyday forever every time you wake up as thanks for nature Sarcosuchus for ridding this monster so you never have to encounter it in your life time. The Sarcosuchas is estimated to be 36 to 39 feet on average in length and weighed around 8 metric tones. This predator lived among the dinosaurs at that time which became their supper. The sarcosuchas had biologically advanced vision and a very long snout comprising 75% of the length of the skull. There were 35 teeth in each side of the upper jaw, while in the lower jaw there were 31 teeth in each side according to the fossils. The upper jaw was also noticeably longer than the lower one leaving a gap between them when the jaws were shut, creating an overbite. This colossal predator is colloquially called SuperCroc, However the Sarcosuchas was not technically a crocodile, the sarcosuchus was actually its distant relative, the primary difference being their size. At almost 40 feet long, sarcosuchus was almost twice as long as the saltwater croc, which is the largest crocodile known as of now.
