Goethe-Institut Belgrad's video: Balkan Academy of Music 2019

The Western-Balkan/French/German Jazz Academy in Northern Montenegro was selected by the French-German Cultural Funds as a supported project for 2019. “Balkan Jazz Academy Bijelo Polje 2019” was a joint suggestion by Goethe-Institut Belgrade, Institut Français Monténégro and the Regional Youth Cooperation Office (RYCO), Montenegro Branch office. Six experienced musicians from Germany, France and the region discussed, lectured, rehearsed and performed with a bunch of young and highly talented jazz musicians from six Western Balkan countries. Master classes, lectures, stage performances and jam sessions over four days in September 2019 created an inspiring atmosphere for the mutual benefit of different generations of musicians, composers and audience.
