‘Teesri Kasam’ is a 1966 movie which revolves around a man named Hiraman (Raj Kapoor). Hiraman is a bullock cart driver from a village in Bihar. He takes two vows. After escaping from police while smuggling illegal goods, he takes the first vow of never to carry illegal goods. Consequently, after being beaten by two men while transporting bamboo, he takes the second vow of never to carry bamboo in his cart again. He then meets Hirabai, a dancer and takes the third vow.
