AskGolfGuru. He was critiquing a golf swing from one of his loyal followers. This golfer has a problem with lifting up at the back swing and through swing. The drill uses a vertical golf club anchored by the ground. Placing his left hand (Mark Crossfield) on the butt end of the club, he instructed the golfer to push down on the butt end and as he took away his right hand/arm (So as to simulate a back swing, he pushed the club handle away from his body in order to drop his left shoulder. This would prevent the standing up with the back swing and follow through.
