READ BEFORE COMMENTING!!! This is a map i made in source sdk (hammer). It's an elivator in a Very high hotel building that is crashing down to the bottom of the elivator shaft. The elevator and button models is from hl2 ep2. Im gonna remake this and make a MOD so dont post comments about how to fix this map. songs and sounds: This is sparta - 300 Ironman theme - black sabbath. Make a func_door box around it cuz the elevator doesn't have collisions. 3. make the door have lip (- the leangth of the elevator shaft minus the hieght of the elevator). 4. have speed like 4000 or something. 5. make two layers of elevator doors one with parent on the elevator and the other on the upper floor on the outer side. 6. make some cool sounds. 7. the button can be a box with texture on with a func_button. 8. make a button inside the elevator with once only. 9. Have parent from elevator to box and inside button. 10. have some shake that you must time right and env_sparks in the corners of the elevator. 11. make sure noone can get out of the elevator when the doors is closing. 12. and please make a video response if you have made one. =D
