Goonk Vilaivanh's video: The Invitational Tri-Cities Cars and Coffee After Dark

This is the biggest car show our hometown has ever had and what made it better is many of my friends were the ones involved in hosting it. Many types of Cars and Coffee are typically held in the early mornings nation wide, however, the people in this area wanted one in the evening hours from 6pm-10pm to reflect the After Dark title. Just like any other C&C, the amount of cars are very versatile. Any with wheels showed up from 2 to 4 or vintage to pro mod drag cars. They even had food trucks and vendors to participate and make the show more enjoyable. With it being held at Autonation, the amount of parking was expected to be enough, but it exceeded all expectations and was full many times. The show venue was located on a highway so traffic was enormously backed up and people either end up parking on the sides of highways or parked at nearby dealerships. Fortunately there were police authorities to help with controlling traffic. The event were very happy with the result of the show and already plan to make it bigger next year with a new venue. We all can't wait for the next one. --------------- Having a show at night was very reminiscent to me because when I got more involved with car meets, they were usually held late hours hanging out with friends in parking lots. I had a lot of fun running into many friends and just chatting with them there. A lot of cool cars showed and many also came from out of state to our town just to be a part of this. The guys started doing this as small pop-up type meets are parking lots or near downtown districts just to have a place for late night goers to lounge around people with the same interests of loving cars. As it got bigger, it began to make news with more planning to a couple "big event" with one vendor booth and food truck on side street parking in a business district. Now it's led to an official event that you'd see from the bigger name car shows. Thank you staff members for doing this for our community. I hope to see more events and I know you guys have learn what to do and expect next to make it better. I was very excited to film this event since it felt like the early days when I started just for fun. Although I was happy chatting with many people there, it also prevented me from filming too much. I still manage to get enough footage to make a video and nearly used all that I got. I'm disappointed in myself for messing up my gimbal shots because I tried a new audio setup that wasn't technically a good way of mounting a shotgun mic with a shock mount (I should have known better) Came home to find out nearly all or usually the big gliding shots were shaky and post-stabilization couldn't really save; they weren't the micro-jitter type of shake either. Luckily I filmed in either 48 or 60 fps so it allowed me to save some shots enough to use. I had a different vision of editing this video to be more epic. Still with 3 different sections and style of filming/editing, I hope I was able to capture what the event was like. I know I missed quite a bit of cars and other stuff as I was one-man banding this event. Sorry I missed your car if you were expecting a shot of it.
