This is a very common question I hear from clients about Total Knee Replacement (TKR) Surgery: "When will I know I'm ready for surgery?" Often times, they've seen a surgeon, and the surgeon tells them to wait as long as they can...in other words, bear the pain as long as you can, and then call the surgeon when you're ready. I don't really like this answer, as there are a couple problems this can lead to...problems that can make your recovery from surgery more difficult.
