sorry for the desync, i'll try to solve this in the future (probably by recording through OBS instead of shadowplay) i only played a few songs, but the engine looks pretty good actually; it seems to take note order into account (unlike phase shift), so i actually have to hit stuff in the proper order instead of being able to do stuff like "hit 2 separate notes at the same time because its easier and the game will still register it", which is good. i still think it's a bit loose; the timing window should probably be a bit smaller (but please don't make it shrink like on RB3 _please_) so yeah, this game is pretty fun actually (at least on drums; haven't tested guitar yet); i just wish it had visual feedback for overhit on the kick pedal (as one of my pedals overhit quite a bit), and support for the expert+ difficulty, like phase shift does. find the latest version of this game here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC_xX3cy16zFZrJnofXRm_3A/videos btw if my technique (or the lack thereof) looks like shit to you, it probably is! i'll take proper drum lessons at some point.
