Graeme Whipps's video: Northern Lights 21st April 2020

@Northern Lights 21st April 2020
Not a bad wee display last night, although could have been much better with slightly better timing, as it was the the biggest displays were over North America , the far south of Australia and New Zealand. The activity was the result of a week Coronal Mass Ejection (CME), which was later reinforced by a slightly elevated solar wind associated with a coronal hole. Just a couple of weeks to go before the simmer dim ( summer twilight) takes over the northern horizon up in Scotland, so this may well be the last display of the 2019/2020 aurora season. Taken between 2215 and 2202 UTC on the 21st/22nd April 2020, Chapel of Garioch, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.
