A little bit surprised this aurora did register G1 (minor storm) levels, but never the less, it was well worth standing out in the cold, with an arc 15 degrees above the northern horizon at one stage, and rayed bands extending up to 25 degrees. There were two main bursts in activity, the first early on at 2100-2130 UTC, with another around 0030-0100 UTC, I managed to cover them both in this time lapse, which is composed of 1415, 15 second exposures and covers the period 1850 to 0135 UTC (11th/12th January 2021).
