Grateful Gnomads's video: Isla Holbox: The Most AMAZING Place in MEXICO

We've traveled all across Mexico from coast to coast, and Isla Holbox just might be the most amazing place we've visited yet! This little island off the northern coast of the Yucatan Peninsula is a part of the Yum Balam Biosphere Reserve. Most of the island is undeveloped and is thriving with wildlife. As such, vehicles are prohibited here aside from those used to transport goods. To get around the dirt roads, you can rent a bike or golf. There's no need to be in a hurry here, though! We had been hearing about Isla Holbox for years and finally made it there earlier this year. The hype is well-deserved, if you ask us. This little island is absolutely stunning and we loved the super laidback vibe. A few days swaying in hammocks and chilling on the beach was just what we needed. If you need more activity, you can sign up for snorkeling or diving tours, go kayaking, try kitesurfing, or do yoga. We instantly fell in love with Isla Holbox and can't wait to get back there for another visit!
