Have you ever heard of the Great Sand Dunes National Park? We hadn't either until a few years ago, and we've been to Colorado several times! Despite being an absolutely epic place, Great Sand Dunes National Park flies under the radar of most. It's not exactly easy to get to and is often overlooked for more popular national parks like the Rocky Mountains or Grand Canyon. We checked out the Great Sand Dunes National Park at the end of our huge Colorado road trip and had an absolute blast. In addition, we visited the nearby UFO watchtower. There have been over 250 sightings at this place since 2000 alone! We just had to check this place out...
