I am now back in the U.S. with no job (currently looking) but with an idea for writing this novel. However, I understand that I need a steady income to survive. I was just wondering if you had any tips on living a practical and realistic life as an aspiring writer." 2."I understand you have 5 more books planned in the Grauwelt series, but do you know roughly how the rest of the series will play out? Have you planned it, or are you just going with the flow? I want to start writing but I don't know whether I should plan out the whole series before I start on the first book. What did you do? "Also, why did you have to kill off Ghesdalt? He was my favourite Löwa. Loved that guy." 3. "I'm working on my own project and it is very much still in the baby stage. A theme of my book will be characters struggling with mental illnesses like bipolar and anxiety. I haven't read or heard of any fantasy series that focuses on that, and I always wanted a character I could understand on that level. The only thing I'm worried about is making it too heavy handed. Any advice on that?" 4. "I find historical fiction to be way more difficult to write than fantasy. My novel started out in the real world but I ended up rewriting the whole thing in a fantasy setting just to keep the book in check. Am I just crazy that I think this way?" 5. "Well, I took some of my inspiration from things like The Elder Scrolls series with the dragon tongue, I made my own and am shooting for a series, but I don't know if I should because I might not get it done.
