Its not worth an upgrade coming from the S7...but from the S6 or lower... it is.. It gives up the Infinity display to beefier bezels to add to the shock protection factor.. Will help a lot with drops on the corners.. The screen is protected by a small lip around the device.. about .5mm give or take. All in all its a very nice phone.. I'm not sure what they were thinking when they made the Gold color...but Grey is the way to go.
