RETHYMNO - What a beautiful town ! Rethymno is the the capital of the province of Rethymno. The amazing old part of the city, influenced mainly by the Venetians, is full of cosmopolitan restaurants and coffee shops that make the city very lively. Even though we stayed only a few hours, it was truly worth the visit. Some of the spots you should have in mind when you visit the city of Rethymno is the Lighthouse in the beginning of the port and the impressive Mosque Neratze (now the Municipal Music School ). We absolutely recommend you to spend a few days in Rethymno Province and discover the beautiful beaches, archaeological sites, Byzantine churches, quaint villages, and cosmopolitan resorts !
