This is the story of cuddles the haunted house dog. On a beautiful June night in 2007, god received another angel, and welcomed Rosemary Hinaman through his pearly gates. In the dark of the night, Greg heard his mother Rosemary call him for assistance. He found his mother praying on her bed, saying thank you Jesus, thank you Jesus. And without notice she suddenly passed in his arms. God knew this broke Greg’s heart and shattered his spirit. That is when another one of God’s creations went into action. Cuddles, the family dog went to Greg to comfort him, cuddles showered him with kisses and hugs letting him know everything would be alright. Since that night cuddles reminds Greg of his mother. When cuddles kicks his food all over the kitchen floor as he gets ready to eat, it reminds Greg when his mother would say, cuddles, mommy is not going to clean that mess. Or when cuddles lays on Greg’s chest at night, it reminds him of when cuddles slept on Rosemary’s chest as she rested from coming home from a 6 month hospital stay. Unfortunately this would be her last day that she spent with him. But Cuddles is a constant reminder of Rosemary’s kind ways. a reminder of her giving spirit. And of the charity work that she use to do. Cuddles who was Born in 2004, is also known as, (“Cuddles the Haunted House dog”) has been by Greg’s side, and continues to support him no matter what. Cuddles and his unconditional love spreads amongst others, everyone who meets cuddles knows exactly how he received his name. Cuddles is a care giver at heart, and he knows it. He is an extension of rosemary in its truest form, and he keeps her spirit alive in our hearts, and in our minds. There is no other dog quite like cuddles the haunted house dog, and there never will be again. God, we cannot thank you enough, for creating such wonderful companions. Someone there to celebrate with us. Someone to cry with us. Someone who accepts us and all of our faults. Someone who will not judge you. Someone, who will always take “all”, of our worries away… . . .
