Greg TerrorTech Hinaman's video: What is that noise

This morning we heard a noise coming from the furnace, then realized it was coming from the Flue Pipe. So we disconnected the pipe and covered it instantly with a plastic container to hopefully catch it when it flew out. But no, he cornered himself at the bottom of the pipe. Tried to coax him out with come bread to no avail, then all of a sudden the furnace started to kick on and he flew out like a bird out of a furnace would! Now it was a game of Let's see if you can catch me" for the next half hour. Finally got him to fly into a small waste basket and trapped him in with a small cardboard box. Now mind you our dog Cuddles was not much help as he thought it was a game too. We captured the release on film while Cuddles watched perched from his vantage point on the top of the couch where you can find him most days as you drive by. The bird didn't seem to suffer any injuries as a result of passing out from the carbon monoxide fumes from the top of the chimney as he was only trying to keep warm, then falling down into the basement trap, finding his way from the bottom of the chimney to the flue pipe, through that all the way to the bottom of the pipe next to the gear, then getting out, flying through the basement for a half hour then being trapped in a waste basket only to be release back into it's own environment, I'd say that's one lucky bird.
